Work Day - 03-05-11

We do have a work day scheduled for Saturday, March 5. We have some sad news though. Richard, one of our devoted workers who has not missed a workday will be unable to attend. We are hoping several strong bodied folks will show up on Saturday! The plan is to finish pulling off paneling in the courtroom. It is glued on and really stuck! The carpet came up nice. The paneling came off the other rooms really quickly. Hope to see you Saturday!

  1. Today turned out to be a good work day, even though we missed Richard. We had a good turn out. We now have all of the paneling out of the two small rooms upstairs and a large portion of the courtroom. The carpet (that has turned to black powder) is out of the courtroom and one of the rooms. The ceiling beams are beautiful upstairs! If anyone remembers the courtroom BEFORE the 60s, can you tell us what the ceiling looked like?

  2. Oh yeah..... Jen brought potato soup and cornbread for lunch and Dorothy topped off the meal with a homemade blackberry cobbler.
