  2. So what are some of the items that will be up for the silent auction? How do people donate items for the silent auction? Thanks for all your hard work on this.

  3. Thanks for asking! The items are small and will sit on a table beside their paper and a brief comment. Of course, items donated already are of "older" quality in keeping with the historical theme. Donations can be made by bringing items to the next work day on February 19. Or... we will be at the Courthouse on the day of the event, Friday, February 25, about 9:30 if someone wants to bring in any last minute items. For all of our out-of-town contributions, items can be mailed via postal service to our P.O. Box. Or, you might want to consider the live auction that will be held May 21. That's going to be a grand affair on a Saturday with a live band, to be followed by an auction. We have two auctioneers who have already volunteered their services.

  4. What a great day for soup in Pineville! The weather is going to be chilly. Come on in and warm up with us in the Old Courthouse!

  5. We could not have asked for a better day for soup! The weather in Pineville was coooolllddd... it was cloudy but no rain or snow! It was warm in the Old Courthouse though. We collected over $1,000. for our soup & auction! Whoo who! We had special visitors too. You'll have to post to ask questions!
